Yuta, Trainer

Yuta Otake, originally from New York, holds an M.A. in TESOL from New York University. His career has been dedicated to facilitating professional development programs across multiple countries through initiatives supported by the U.S. Embassy, Fulbright, and American Councils. There is nothing he enjoys more than teaching. 


Widodo, Trainer

Widodo, originally from Jambi, holds an M.A. in Educational Leadership, Politics and Advocacy from New York University. He has been working with the national and international NGOs that focused on improving the quality of education in the eastern part of Indonesia through literacy, teacher training and child friendly library programs. He believes that quality educators are the key to a better society.

Fitri, Trainer

Fitri Pangestu Noer Anggrainy is a dedicated educator with an M.A. in English Education from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Her extensive experience includes authoring papers on English language teaching approaches, reading strategies, ICT in education, and innovative ELT methods. Fitri is passionate about developing effective teaching strategies in the EFL context. She believes that education is key to unlocking the potential of individuals and communities.



Riandry, Trainer

Riandry Fadilah Nasution is a passionate English educator committed to making language learning a gateway to global opportunities. Hailing from North Sumatra, he earned his M.A. in TESOL with Distinction from The University of Manchester, UK. With experience teaching across different levels from private tutoring to university instruction at UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom.



Aziz, Marketing Specialist

Abdul Aziz holds a Master of Science in Tourism Management and a Bachelor’s degree in English Education. He brings together his passions for education, tourism, and marketing to support students interested in exchange programs. In addition to leading marketing efforts for The Mangrove Global, Aziz also runs his own company, Peh Travel, which facilitates educational programs for Indonesian students in Japan.

Ijal, Cafe Operations Lead

Rizal Ali Nurdin is passionate about making positive change in his community through the power of coffee. As a co-founder of the Rasa Galor cooperative, he helps connect people, communities, and farmers to raise awareness and appreciation for high-quality coffee from West Java. He brings the same spirit to Mangrove Cafe, where coffee will serve as a tool to unite the community—to share, support, and grow together.
