Professional Development for Pre-Service Teachers
Our approach to pre-service teacher development builds on the same philosophy as our teacher training: we model everything and create opportunities to learn by doing. But for future teachers, we go one step further. We focus on building the communication confidence, emotional resilience, and sense of purpose they need to feel ready to enter the classroom, motivated to pursue teaching, and prepared to stay in the profession.

Our Training Programs for Pre-Service Teachers
- Preparation for Student Teaching: Lesson planning, classroom management, giving instructions, leading activities, managing transitions, and practicing real classroom scenarios.
- Teacher Communication & Classroom Leadership: Voice, body language, questioning, giving clear instructions, facilitating discussions, managing classroom interaction, and communicating with confidence.
- Student-Centered Teaching: Active learning, student participation, questioning, classroom interaction, reducing teacher talking time, and learning by doing.
- Teaching in English / EMI: Classroom English, modeling, scaffolding complex content, checking understanding, and building confidence teaching in English.
- English Language Teaching (ELT): Communicative language teaching, practical approaches to speaking, vocabulary and grammar, lesson design, and adapting instruction to different learners.
- Teaching English to Young Learners (EYL): Age-appropriate activities, learning through play and movement, classroom routines, interaction, and keeping young learners actively engaged.
- Teacher Identity & Career Readiness: Building teacher confidence, developing professional identity, exploring career pathways, and preparing for the transition from university to the profession.
